The announcement comes hours before this year's MLS All-Star Game kicks off Wednesday night in Atlanta.

This will be the second time Orlando hosts the MLS All-Star Game. It was played at the Citrus Bowl in 1998 and drew 34,416 fans.

Galaxy beat Orlando City Soccert in Donovan’s MLS return

Los Angeles (AFP) – Giovani dos Santos scored twice as the Los Angeles Galaxy beat Orlando City 4-2 in a match that marked the return to the MLS of Landon Donovan.

Donovan, the league’s all-time leading scorer, didn’t enter the contest at Los Angeles’ StubHub Center stadium until the 83rd minute and he did not attempt a shot on goal.

Orlando City Begins Two-Game Road Trip in Chicago

Following Sunday’s match against Seattle, Orlando City SC (5-6-11, 26 points) begins a two-game road trip on Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Chicago Fire (4-2-4, 18 points). Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. ET at Toyota Park and will be nationally televised on UniMás.

The Lions’ 12th nationally televised fixture of the season will also be transmitted on Real Radio 104.1 FM in English and on La Grande 1030 AM in Spanish.
